The Last Stop for Miles was built by schneckenhof during Revision 22. It was located in the overworld in a desert biome just to the north and east of the Mooshroom Portal, and to the west of Avalon.

About its name, schneckenhof says: “I came up with the name because this build is in the desert and isolated so it gave me the mental image of the last gas station before going down Route 66 (the loneliest highway in America).

This building was originally created as storage area for mining gems and sand, with a planned mineshaft at layer 11. The Last Stop of Miles offers a wide range of amenities to travellers, all publicly accessible, such as six public furnaces, crafting tables and public chests, two anvils and two fully stocked enchanting libraries. It also has a brewing area with public brewing stands, an infinite spring, and chests stocked with bottles and starter ingredients. On the roof travellers could find a fishing pond as well as a couple of pens for farm animals. There are also plots for potatos, carrots, wheat, sugarcane, mushrooms (on Mycelium) and netherwart (on Soul Sand).
